Roof holding water or starting to leak?

PandaCoat TopBase ST is a single-component, silicone (silane-based) waterproofing coating designed for standalone, full waterproofing of roofs and surfaces. Especially suited to flat roofs, roofs with PU foam or polystyrene thermal insulation, and areas where standing water collects. Applied directly onto the prepared substrate in one thick coat.

TopBase ST benefits

☀️ Reflects solar heat (white version)
The white TopBase ST reflects sunlight and keeps the space under the roof cooler in summer; grey is the universal, less visible option.

🛠️ One thick coat is enough
Unlike UniBase MS, TopBase ST doesn't require 2-3 coats – a single thick coat is enough (up to 1.6 L/m² in one pass).

🌦️ Weatherproof in any conditions
Once cured, the membrane resists UV rays, rain, snow, ice and temperature swings from -30°C to +80°C (ETAG 005 TL4/TH3).

🖌️ Easy to apply – usually no primer needed
Apply with a brush, roller or airless sprayer. Primer is usually not needed on ceramic or metal; for concrete use Primer VL, for damp concrete EP-W, for bitumen VL 2K.

📜 Genuine CE certification (ETAG 005)
TopBase ST comes with full DoP/ESD documentation under ETAG 005 – a confirmed W3 (25-year) service life and genuine CE compliance, which not every equivalent product on the market has.

What it is

A single-component, liquid-applied waterproofing coating based on silane-modified silicone, curing with atmospheric humidity into a strong, elastic, waterproof membrane. TopBase ST is a standalone, alternative waterproofing line (silicone chemistry) – used INSTEAD OF UniBase MS (MS polymer), not together with it in the same coat. Available in grey or white.

Application

The substrate must be clean, dry, free of dust and grease (concrete moisture <5%). Primer is usually not required, but for better mechanical properties we recommend: Primer VL (concrete), EP-W (damp concrete) or VL 2K (bitumen). Pre-seal joints with TopBase ST Paste sealant.

Apply TopBase ST with a brush, roller or spray equipment in one thick coat (unlike UniBase MS, which needs 2-3 coats). If applying more than one coat, allow 3-48 hours between coats. A surface skin forms after ~2 hours (23°C/50% RH).

Coverage: 1.0–1.3 L/m² (1.2–1.6 kg/m²) for a standard coat, or up to 1.6 L/m² in one thick pass.
Curing time: surface skin ~2 hours, full cure depends on ambient conditions.
Note: this is a standalone waterproofing line – do not use as a mandatory top coat over UniBase MS or vice versa.
